Spring Morning

Spring Morning

On this beautiful spring morning.
Shooting pains, pierce! Her body.
Convulsive spasms, so nauseating.
Intermixtures of agony and ecstasy.
A flood of emotion so confusing.
On this beautiful spring morning.

Guardians in white surround her.
Antiseptic aromas fill the air.
Comforting words reassure her.
Screams of anger, at this nightmare.
Love, hate, fear commingled feelings.
On this beautiful spring morning.

Amidst all the pain and suffering.
Tears of joy, buoyant laugher.
Life bursts forth, a new beginning.
The cradle of creation; mother nature.
A child is born to a mother and father.
On this beautiful spring morning.
